Ladies and Gentlemen I need your help? I am writing a book and yes it's all about our favorite pets or pests (however you may refer to them) the illusive lot lizzard. I need a list of truck stops, rest areas any where you may have encountered them post them in your replies. To date I have employed and interviewed two girls for my tell all book. This book is meant to enlighten everybody on THE oldest profession in the world. I have learned so much and have found myself to be less judgmental about these women. You can expect the good as well as the bad to be included between the pages and if I find your personal story to be of particular interest I may ask you to sit for an interview. Who knows you could have star value. So I need your help? Lets set the record straight. In advance, Thanks!

I WAS A DRIVER FOR A COMPANY IN CHATTANOOGA,TENN An WAS ASK TO DELIVER A LOAD TO ONTARIO,CA MY THEN 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ASK TO RIDE SO I SAID YES ,MY WIFE WAS IN THE HOSP AT THE TIME WAITING TO HAVE SURGERY SO IT HELPED TO TAKE THE YOUNGEST SO WE TAKE OUT TO CA WHEN WE ARRIEVED AT THE T/A IN ONTARIO WE PARKED AN WENT TO EAT AN TAKE A SHOWER WHEN WE WENT BACK TO THE TRUCK IT WAS A LITTLE AFTER 9PM AN WE WATCHED TV UNTIL ABOUT 11PM SHE (MY DAUGHTER) WENT TO BED THEN I DROPPED THE TOP BUNK AN PROCEEDED TO GO TO SLEEP. AROUND 2AM A KNOCK CAME ON MY DOOR A BLACK GENTLEMEN ASK IF I WANTED TO BUY A CAMERA I SAID NO AN WENT BACK TO BED AROUND 2:30 AM ANOTHER KNOCK THIS TIME A OLDER WHITE MAN ASK TO POLISH MY WHEELS I SAID NO AN RETURNED TO MY BUNK THEN AT 4AM ANOTHER KNOCK AN THIS TIME A BLACK LADY ASKED IF I WANTED COMPANY I SAID NO AN TOLD HER NOT TO COME BACK BECAUSE I HAD MY 13 YR OLD DAUGHTER WITH ME SHE SAID TO ME WELL I WILL DO HER FOR 20.00 I WAS ENRAGED  AN TOLD HER I WOULD CALL THE COPS IF SHE RETURNED SHE NEVER RETURNED THERE IS MY STORY SO IF ITS ANY USE TO YOU E-MAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW CARL_BWMN@YAHOO.COM

my friend,as bad as it sounds,welcome to the wonderful world of the over the road trucker.it seems that we are the targets of many people who think we carry a lot of money and are "looking for a good time".i don't know about you ,but i don't have time for all that.it takes every bit of my time just to get a load delivered,get some rest,get reloasded,and get on my way.what gets me is,even our employers treat us like a bunch of kids.a lot of people think that we're only out here to chase whores,pop pills,and run triple digit down the road putting everybody in danger.the problem is that we don't do anything to change their attitude.we (people like you and i)are paying for the mistakes made by other people who don't belong in the business.these "truckstops,in particular,the one you are speaking of,think that this is what we want,so they allow these people to frequent the parking lots looking for suckers.the other problem is,where are we gonna go to park for the night if we are in the area? i usually went up cajon pass to hesparia and park because it's safer.but look at how far i had to go out of route.the company said something about it one day and i told them,if i park the truck there are you gonna come out and spend the night there?you know what the answer was to that.

 the only answer i can give you to solve your delima is,don't park there.i don't and i won't as long as the parking lot is not policed by real police not on the take.but if you're expecting the t/a and other truckstops to do anything about it,don't hold your breath.personally,i think they get a kickback from all the lot lizzards and so they let them stay there.it's been known for at least twenty five years that i have been on the road that they are there.and that they stay in the motel right in front of the truckstop.but noone cares about us there because it's the only truckstops in the area.where else are we gonna go?i get bent out of shape because,not only do they let it happen,they charge us for parking there.

 i hope for you the best in you career in the trucking industry.it has turned into one of the most corrupt industry i have seen.and stuff like this is why.i only hope others like you will join me in trying to get trucking to what it could be.truely professional,and not the meaning some little yuppie with a colledge degree and a position says it is,what it really means to be a pro.where we have a say-so in how things should be.we take responsibility for what we do,we tell these colledge boys and girls what it takes to get the job done,we tell the truckstops we are'nt gonna be woke up all hours of the night by the scum of the earth trying to get their next fix on our dime.and,if they don't want to play ball with us,we bring the cops in and get something done about it.the biggest problem with ontario and others like it is that the surrounding community thinks we belong inside that fence with that scum,and that is our fault.we have to stand up and change this.good luck,my highway bro.i'll see you out here on the road somewhere.

so you want to make money writing a story that has already been exploited by the mass media.about a topic that is almost worn out.i think you need to go to work for jerry springer.we have enough bad publicity put on us about this.and it really bugs me that you want to write about a very small group of people in this industry.most people in this industry will tell you that the "lot lizzard/john" association accounts for a small group in this industry.most drivers don't want to deal with them and have very little time to do so.but your"tell all"book will make it look like the majority of drivers are getting lot lizzards every time they stop.which,number 1 is far from the truth,and number2,causes a lot of problems for drivers in the way they are percieved.don't you think we have enough bad publicity?every city in the united states has an attorney wanting to sue the first driver and company that is involved in an accident(at fault or not).when i tell some people that i am a truck driver,i can see the look on their face of dissapproval.if you feel such great need to write about"the oldest profession",why aren't you writing about all the doctors and attorneys at the conventions in las vegas and other cities? could it be that they would jump all over you like white on rice.so you jump on the bandwagon with the other groups and try to find some dirt on us.

 i,for one,am tired of seeing all this crap about truck drivers and "lot lizzards".more and more they are being run out of the truckstops and rest ares.and we are being left alone.this generation of drivers out now don't have time to deal with this crap.they are true professionals and do what needs to be done.and they don't need someone putting bad light on them like was done to my generation.if you feel the need to write about something,why not write about stories of what drivers have done to help people on the road,oh,that's right,it isn't as exciting as writing about the bad side that few are involved in.might not sell any books,right?i'm sorry to be so negative to you,kitten,but i'm just tired of seeing drvers get a raw deal by these"tell all" books and stories that just don't tell the real story.the story of a group of hard working,family loving,patriotic,and professional folk that are just out here trying to do a job,support themselves and their family,pay their taxes,and get back home.
