    felony

does any one know of any company that will give a convicted felon a second chance. I've tried several, and get different answers. My conviction was 10 yrs. ago. I've got a class a cdl, have been accident and trouble free for the last ten yrs, but still no chance. is it useless, should i just give in? any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have no problem with you putting up a number on the board to help a fellow driver find a job and or load. This is what the board is all about I just don't want a bunch of recruiters spaming the board with ad after ad after ad. You know what I mean then the board becomes useless to others.

I watch the board pretty close so I know when some one is spamming and some one like you is really trying to help so yes if your trying to help a fellow driver please give them as much information as possible to help them, except links and our url's as these can get out of hand way to fast.

Yhanks for being a part of the board and your post have been spot on,

    Re: felony

it depends on the felony.drug convictions, very hard to find a job.assault, not quite as hard.property crimes(theft,burg.,etc.)shouldnt be too hard to find a job

    Re: felony

try expedited freight companies, you can drive a straight truck (which is alot easier anyway) and still make decent money.

    Re: felony

Geeked I've been felony free for over 18 years and that was never an issue until September 11th. Fear and apprehension took over the minds and lives of even the most experienced government official to the point of no return. When the economy is booming and work is plentiful, there is no problem with any drivers record. At least that is what Im seeing all of a sudden. Anyway friends ,don't be discouraged everything will work itself out just fine.
