I have driven for Schneider National twice, and am currently contemplating going back. They treat the drivers with respect, and get you home when they say they will. They also have their own terminals around the country which are nice because they have showers, cafaterias, and t.v. rooms. The only reason i left both times  was to be at home, but i am not making enough money and will probably go back. GREAT COMPANY.

Did the Schnieder Gig for a year and had to leave, theyr'e a graet starter co. for the inexp. or drvr right out of school but no miles yet. they'll give you a secure job and a great chance to get that experience you need for some of the better co's. but you won't get that great paycheck there. ever. and you can forget about the bonus money. yeah some drivers  get it but for the majority its unobtinable.so if your'e new ,,do it than split for greener pastures if you have the exp. keep lokin good luck and remember this is only my opinion

    Re: info on schneider national

here is the twist i hope isn't bad in the end. I had first year last year out of school. Went to swift and was training for three month's. had four different trainer's no problems with them the last one i did. i was fired. they said i didn't follow proper procedures in having problem's with my trainer.( he liked to stay up late after day of driving and have radio on, t.v on and cb. at the same time as i was trying to sleep. after few day's of this i repeated to ask him to turn it donw and he said i was student and it was his only home and he was trainer and i have to deal with it. I reached around him and tried to turn it down, he stepped in front of me to block me. I stepped back. He was a big man I am 5'6" 290lbs though. I reached againand he pushed me back and i scratched him in face as i reached to catch my fall. he bled and called company had me taken off truck. i was fired. notice i received later in month was that they would rehire with review. I went to covenant transport and was with them five months without hometime and had two (incidents within two weeks of eachother) in the truck when they put me as solo till i could get co-driver. I went through traing for the smith program again and got my certificate again. My accidents was minor damage and no injuries. one left turn and the other backing. they put me with woman who did not finish her 30 days' company training and i did not know it. she could not drive at night and had trouble reading qualcomm to map the route as i slept. i had to get up during the day and be with her and still drive at night. she couldn't drive at night either. she said she had trouble seeing. after few day's with her i was exhausted. i called company and told them i couldn't finish the run and had it repowered.I told them about her. they said nothing.i was approved for hometime and was about to take it in a week.they said i got off the truck which i did after we schedualed for the other truck to come and finish the run. I left thr truck were it was sapposed to be and she went with other trainer she saw and told dispatch how to reach them when the truck came. covenant said i quit but i didn't. they wouldn't let me come back after hometime.they sent me letter saying i quit. now havin trouble getting back on with any company.I just applied with schneider waiting to hear. Also, they said  they would hire back with review as well. I think they put i left under load though any suggestions? help
