I got hit with a random test the only time I screwed up. It was sometime mid to late summer in 2002. I was fired for it. Since then I have not driven. Will this show up on my DAC?

A Random IN a CMV is far worse than if during an Orientation yet holds the same result. Being fired for it is standard. IF it is still listed can only be determined by obtaining your FREE REPORT.

If it is verified that it is still listed, it explains WHY you've not been Driving since the Random results and WHY you'll not be driving again, till it drops off IF IT EVER DOES.

Trucking is very unforgiving to Pot and Alcohol problems ESPECIALLY when confirmed by Random Testing. Random means ANYTIME. 

Some companies have offered such Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation clinics yet with the LARGE AVAILABILITY of Qualified and Drug Free Drivers, such suggestions by Companies for Drivers isn't needed.

UPDATE:

As of last week, I received my THIRD COPY of my HireRight report. I received 2 COPIES from just filling in the minor information requested at the website and the THIRD COPY from sending in a request with the standard Identity information, so go figure. THREE REPORTS inside of 2 Months.

DAC/USIS used to claim "one copy in 12 months" but HireRight doesn't have such designation.

DONT WORRY ABOUT A STUPID DAC REPORT. JUSTKEEP PUTTING IN APPS AND YOU'LL HAVE A JOB IN A DAY OR 2 ,,THAT IS IF YOU CAN PASS A PEE TEST...GIVE IT UP AND MOVE ON DUDE !

Companies (some) are doing FOLICLE TESTING of which results determine what one has been doing for 6 months, so ANY illegal drug activity WILL APPEAR and unfortunately so will Prescription Drugs and combinations thereof if NOT stated prior to testing.

The way I see the new regulations, recent pot and other drug use may well fall off the grid because of the B.M.I. and Sleep Apnea mandates.
